The Summit was started by professional guides Ann and Tony Anderson in a one room cabin with a treadle sewing machine. since then we have graduated to a number of specialty industrial machines and a considerably larger, more professional shop. We are responding to a real need for quality, functional, innovative whitewater gear to be used in a commercial whitewater application. Our product line and custom designs have been developed and tested over a period of 20 years in the Grand Canyon and numerous rivers throughout the country, as well as many expeditions throughout the world. The evolution of our product line has paralleled the evolution of the whitewater industry, and we feel we have the most functional, well made equipment on the water. Only the finest, most durable materials are used in our construction, and all stress points are reinforced.
